Size Really Doesn't Matter

This triangular small patio at the end of the living room is a slightly awkward space surrounded by high walls. A textured grey render was used on the walls and an ultra-low glare outdoor heater, two sources of light and large wooden benches were added to the patio space. The decor includes artificial grass, a lovely outdoor mirror to maximize the reflection of space, black modern minimalistic planters for some much need greenery, and a handful of floral outdoor cushions.

The highlight of this space is the custom-made marble-topped table that was created from a set of cast iron pub legs purchased on eBay and then topped with an off-cut of marble encased in outdoor wood offcuts from other projects. This lovely table adds character to the space and fits perfectly to maximize seating and eating. Other note-worthy additions include a lovely wooden carved stool, the second 'second-hand' purchase used in this project (bought as a pair on Schpok) for extra seating and some large outdoor lanterns. The transformation of this small patio was phenomenal and it now serves as a lovely extension of the living room on a warm or slightly cool evening in the capital.
