Designer's notes
It is always a joy to work on children's rooms, be it a young child or a teenager. Children have a joy for life and what better way to enhance their daily life than providing them with a bedroom that speaks to their interests and passions. This room belongs to a young man who is an aviation enthusiast/photographer in every sense of the word. The room features graffiti-inspired, hand-painted murals of Heathrow Terminal 5, the control tower and an aeroplane in flight.

A comfortable padded headboard defines the bed space and the neutral grey bedding allows the artwork to shine. A union flag and stars and stripes cushions are an ode to his dual nationality. The decor is further enhanced by models and posters that cater to his passion for aviation. Hand-painted murals are a great way to personalize a child room and allow them to indulge their passion in their personal space.
