A Cosy Living Room for a Young Family

Taking the chairs out of the bay area and placing them on either side of the TV unit was the critical element in allowing us to transform the room into a cosy conversational living space. We added textured wallpaper to the TV wall along with a statement TV unit with stunning handles. We placed a gorgeous yet quirky tiger picture behind the sofa and added a large statement brass light fixture. Given the depth of the sofas, we added generously sized cushions in a variety of sophisticated colours and motifs. To frame the window bay, we added a large console with gorgeous black lamps and side mirrors that added to the overall decor and provided additional sources of lighting in the evening. My client's wish was to have a cup of tea in this room for her birthday and she sent me a lovely message on the day telling me how much she loved her new room which of course made my day as well.
